Personal Statement

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile!

I am about to enter my senior year at Battle Mountain High School in Edwards, Colorado. From the minute I started playing volleyball in the sixth grade, I have been all-in. I have played every school season, played club in the winter and beach in the summer and attended every camp and clinic I could find. If that's not enough, I play in an Adult Reverse-Coed League and Coed and Grass Doubles Tournaments when ever I can. I have even helped coach at my Middle School. Despite having last club season cut short, my senior high school season being moved to March- I am still all-in. Learning and improving is important to me.

For my 17s season, I worked hard and quickly became the team O6 and earned the spot of captain. I plan to do the same this year. My Club team should compete at the Kansas City Martin Luther King Day Tournament, Mizuno Northern Lights Qualifier,  Asics Presidents Day Classic in Omaha and Colorado Crossroads. The RMR region where I play, is scheduling our tournaments October-December 2020, so for that I am grateful.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure what I want to major in, but I do know that I want volleyball to be a part of my college experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.

Sincerely,

McKenzie Clyncke, Class of 2021
