Makenzie Smith '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was 10. Ever since I stepped foot on the court in PE, I have loved the sport and everything that comes with it. I am currently going into my third year of club volleyball. Volleyball has taught me almost everything I know about sports, communication and working together as a team for a common goal. 

I am quick to react on the court and have a strong and consistent jump float serve. I am a very coachable player and have been told by all of my coaches that I am like a sponge.  I am constantly reaching new milestones on and off the court. I love lifting up the players around me, being excited, and cheering loudly on the court and on the sideline. 

Academically, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I want to attend a college where I am pushed academically as well as on the volleyball court. I am open to almost any location for my higher education as well as any division.
