Everyone has dreams that one day they will hopefully achieve. Mine is playing volleyball at a collegiate level. Accomplishing this goal would be one key in helping me to focus on my education and other life goals. I believe that being a skillful player is important, although in my opinion, the best player is the one with great leadership. I am a leader. This includes a positive attitude, great energy, and a constant passion and love for the game. With this, I think that there is a continuous learning moment for each game played. I am always wanting to learn and try new things to improve my skills on the court. Though, my learning doesn’t stop on the court, I enjoy gaining knowledge at school. My academics are very important to me, I take academics very seriously and strive to earn the best grade possible. Being mentally prepared is another huge step in taking on this challenge. I am always ready to overcome any task that is handed my way. Being a high standard individual, challenges me everyday to work harder and aim for my goal of being a collegiate athlete.
As a sophmore at Columbine High School in the 2017-2018 season, I was the recipient of the MVP award for Level 3. I also played and maintained the setter position for JV during the same season. Without going into extended detail, these are some of the reasons why you would want to select me to represent your team and your college. As my profile shows that I am a setter I would also not mind playing as a defensive specialist. I hope that when making your decision you will highly consider my individual traits and passion. If you want a hard working, skilled leader, who is up for any obstacle, on your team. I would be most honored to be the player for you! Although my profile says that my main position is a setter, I would also be open to playing DS in the collegiate level.
