Maralie Borent '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Maralie Borent from Middletown, CT. I live with my mom, dad and sister. I’m a junior currently at Wilcox Tech. I’ve always had a passion for volleyball, I first tried out in middle school I never made the team in 6th or 7th but in 8th thats when I finally made it. I continued on playing, in 9th grade I bumped up from the freshman team to the JV team. Right before the season ended I got to play with varsity for conferences. Eventually, I got bumped up to varsity in 10th grade & onwards. My position is a libero till now! My confidence tends to go down knowing there’s a possibility I won’t make it on a college volleyball team because of my height. I hope for the best though!! Volleyball’s for life!
