I have always wanted to go to nursing school and be able to play volleyball in college. I hope to one day in the future become a Registered Nurse and work in a hospital. I started playing volleyball in 8th grade and since that day I have been in love with the sport and every aspect of the game itself. I show up to practices early and stay late to get any extra touches in that I can. I understand that I am in no way close to perfect and know that it is an impossible standard to set, but work tirelessly both during the season and in the off season to become the best player I can be. I also have come to learn that although I am a very competitive person both on and off the court, winning isn’t everything and through each loss, there are very important lessons, and mistakes to learn from. On the other side however, I put the same amount of effort into my academics that I do in to the sport that I love. I take all honors and ECE classes, and have even worked my way up to becoming valedictorian of my class. It is always said to put your academics first, but I have always believed in putting the same amount of effort into both, because they are of equal importance to me. That being said, I give 100% in every practice, game, and scrimmage just as I do with every homework assignment, test and class. I would be more than grateful to play for any college team, but feel that I really do have something to add with my attitude, motivation, competitiveness, and want to improve who I am as a student and player everyday.
