Alexandra Ruales '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Alexandra Ruales. I am a 3-time Varsity libero for my high school team and a 3-time club team libero. I started playing volleyball in the midst of 6th grade of middle school and mainly tried out because  I thought it was interesting. However, the more I played the sport, the more I enjoyed it. I watch several volleyball-related videos such as D1, D2, D3 College Volleyball games every day since I started high school and have been improving my skills visually by learning through videos and going to volleyball training camps. I enjoy meeting new people through this sport, and the experiences that come with it. Being a positive aura on the court is what I'm mostly known for. After I or one of my teammates make a mistake, I always remind myself or them with positive assurance and focus on the next point. I plan to major in Animal Studies, Early Childhood Education, or Pre-Vet Health in college. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Have a great day!
