Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Shaylee Moreno and I’m a Class of ‘25 Pin Hitter / DS from South Orange, NJ. I’m currently a rising Senior boarder attending the Loomis Chaffee school in Windsor, CT (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwRHOCN8WC7AiRfNU0q96tNCTg60c-_lT&si=D-3XzSkY-FfruwLv).

I have been playing volleyball for 9 years and this will also be my 8th year playing club. I currently play for Husky VB’s 17U Nationals team.

I enjoy being a student at Loomis because it challenges me academically as well as athletically. In addition to volleyball I also enjoy STEM, Pre-Health, and spending time doing community service.
