I am a born setter. I know exactly where to place the ball for all my players. I study my teammates' abilities thoroughly and adjust to fit their spiking needs. I know my net and the court perimeters very well. I always study the opposing team's playing habits and weaknesses. I remember their rotations and work around their strengths and weaknesses during the games, I work well with my players and coaches when running strategic plays. I have a very quick wit in solving problems at the net.
If I'm not at school, I'm at the volleyball gym, whether it be practicing, getting extra reps in, or coaching and mentoring younger girls. I have been playing club volleyball since I was eight years old. In addition to volleyball, I swam for eight years and have been playing softball for three years. I was the only freshman to receive the three-sport letter for making varsity for all three seasons. I have been the starting setter since freshman year and was the only ninth-grader to make the team. I was also the only freshman to make the championship team. And at the IASAS championship, I was the only freshman at the entire tournament to start and play every game.
