Emma Schott '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Emma Schott. Volleyball is something I live for.Around 7th grade is when I fell in love with the sport. I didn't know anything about it or even how to play it that well, I just knew I loved it. I tried out for my middle schools volleyball team and made the team. I then signed up and tried out to play on a club volleyball team. I instantly fell for the love of the game. Starting out with the basics, finally getting my first serve over the net, finally getting my first win, it was all so exhilarating. I've had my share of bumps and bruises but those moments are what make you look up to playing at a higher level. I am an upbeat player on the court and put all my effort into the game.  Volleyball isn't just a sport to me, it's part of who I am today. Its brought me new friends, new opportunities, changed my aspect on life, and something to wake up and look forward to doing everyday.
