Personal Statement
Being apart of a team that was ranked 5th at the AAU 18 Girls National Championships in 2018 has been so far the highlight of my volleyball career. At 15 years old I was nervous and excited to play on a U18 team. It was a huge stage, and I was 3 years younger than most of these girls. This experience not only helped me grow as an athlete but as a person. That experience is helping me work on the path to becoming a college athlete.
I thank my coaches and my amazing team for the opportunity to play with them. We played some of the best teams in the country and with hard, work and patients with one another, we pulled out in an outstanding place. I learned teamwork, sacrifice, communication, and leadership from this elite team. I feel like I have the skills, work ethic, and passion to play in the next level. I believe my leadership, attitude, energy, and sportsmanship will make critical impact on your program. I want to help my other teammates because in the end serving and helping others is the best award anyone could receive. Working hard, balancing my 2 sports, managing, and my academics; I do have what it takes to impact and lead any team.
