Vanessa (Nessa) Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 4-sport athlete in a 4A school centrally located in Iowa. I am interested in pursuing a Business degree at a school that has a lot to offer both academically and athletically. I am very competitive and strive to make myself and team better each day. I have a passion for sports and playing volleyball. I continue to be active in other sports to represent my school and community the best I can.  I actively volunteer in my community and make myself visible as a role model to all younger student athletes. My parents have instilled strong work ethics and I do my best to demonstrate them daily. Being a member on teams from school and club, I have been able to learn different life skills and continue to grow from each experience. I am driven by goal-setting and competition. I look forward to competing at the next level, continuing my growth in the sport and the new opportunities that await.
