Emma Smith '23 Recruiting Profile

One of my dreams is to continue to play volleyball all while still following my beliefs. One of the reasons why I went back to volleyball was because I found a team that became my family. We all played for the same reason, and that was for God. Everything I do is for God, so I would love to play on a team that allows me to play for God and also allow me to wear a skirt while I play. I wear skirts every single day and to be forced to wear something that goes against my beliefs saddens me. Here I hope I can find a college team that will allow me to play volleyball while following my beliefs, and part of those beliefs is wearing skirts while I play. Winning or losing doesn't matter to me, as long as I have my team to cheer on and God in the end.
