Carly Schroder '25 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to find a school that has a volleyball program that is best for me but also to find a school that is the best for me education-wise. I have always dreamed about playing college volleyball but now it is coming closer it doesn't feel real. I have put in so much work over the years since I started playing and that hard work is finally going to pay off. I want myself to succeed academically and in volleyball. What makes me a good candidate for a team is my optimism for success as a team. I have played on many different teams and every time I have always made the most of my team by believing that we can all succeed as a team and not as individuals. Volleyball is a team sport which is why I also think the connection between my teammates and I is so important so we play together on the court. What makes me different from others is my work ethic/drive and team playing. I have always wanted to see myself succeed and have that feeling of accomplishment. I have put in extra time during my offseason to get better for the next season. I always tell myself there is always room for improvement and that is always my goal is to better myself as a teammate but also skill-wise.
