In college, I am aspiring to obtain a full college experience, broaden my horizons, and find independence and happiness in being a college student. I'm hoping to major in communications and find a career path through that degree, and hopefully do some extra-curriculars or internships in relations to my major. I'm hoping college will help me further some leadership skills and translate my passions into a career that can be fufilling and impactful. In addition to being a full time student, I would love to continue playing volleyball at the collegiate level.
As a member of a collegiate volleyball team I would bring hard work and versatility. Over the past few years, I've worked hard to excel in skills of the game where I was previously lacking to make not only myself a better volleyball player, but whatever team I was on better. As shown in my stats, I am capable of being a versatile and all-around player, which would allow me to be flexible to any position or role a team needs me to be. I would have to stay something I'm really proud of is the well-roundedness of my most recent stats, and I think that emphasizes that I can and am willing to be utilized in different aspects of the game.
Something that sets me apart from other recruits is that I am a an accomplished high school athlete. Over the course of my high school years, I have lettered in volleyball, basketball, softball, and tennis. I have made first team all district in both volleyball and basketball. While athletics is a huge priority to me, it is a close second to my schoolwork and academics, and I understand the importance of emphasizing the student in a student athlete. I am vying for valedictorian in a class of over 500. That being said I'm willing to work hard on and off the court.
