I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year when our team didn't make it to the third round of playoffs. Competing against the 5-year reigning state champion helped me learn the successful outcome of effective communication, teamwork, and trust of teammates. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on helping my team with the small things that will help us get better.
My goals in college are to graduate at the top of my graduating class and to maintain good grades throughout each year. I plan to graduate with a bachelor's degree in criminology. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I am a respectful, honest, and reliable person. I feel I am a person that is able to work well and get along with anyone. I have maintained straight A's since the 1st grade and take school very seriously, even helping upperclassmen with work they do not understand. For my team, I will do what it takes to help us improve and succeed to the best of our abilities.
