Ayva Agno '29 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m Ayva Agno, a 8th grader at Trailside Middle school in Ashburn Virginia. I am a Ds/Libero set to graduate with the class of 2029. I play club volleyball for Bay Area Volleyball Academy (BAVA), and my team is BAVA 14 Waves. I am currently a starter d.s on my volleyball team. I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old and started playing club at age 12. 

My primary goal is to excel in volleyball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Finance. I am committed to maintaining a balance between athletics and academics, as I believe this discipline is crucial for personal growth and team success.

What makes me a strong candidate for your team is my dedication, work ethic, and team-first mentality. I have consistently demonstrated leadership and resilience, both in games and practices. My ability to adapt and learn quickly has helped me improve my skills and contribute effectively to my current team.

What sets me apart from other recruits is my character. I am known for my positive attitude, perseverance, and strong communication skills. Academically, I have maintained a high GPA and I am a stand out student. I have been on Principal’s Honor roll since Kindergarten. As a 8th grader I have been recommended for and am taking all Honors classes. For being a new student in my 8th grade year, I was chosen by all my teachers and peers to be apart of the Student Council which I am currently in. I hope to continue this going into my freshman year and so on to become part and make a difference in my school community.
