Azeen Farahani '15 Recruiting Profile

What makes me different from other recruits in character is that I love watching my teammates achieve their goals as well as mine. There have been many cases where my teammates and I struggled with certain techniques. We work with each other and try to better ourselves individually. If one player achieves our goals before the rest we do not hate on them, nor do we put them down from the result of our jealousy. It only motivates us more to strive for the greatness I know we are capable of. Eventually when we do reach our goals, we not only grew individually, but as a team. What I have noticed in myself is that no matter what the score board presents, I always give my teammates and I 100% on the court. After a game I tend to gather my teammates and evaluate how we all played. Pointing fingers and blaming another player is never the answer. We win as a team and we lose as a team. Cliche, I know. However, I cannot stress enough how much that means to me.
