Playing at a swing level during my freshmen year allowed me to get my first taste of varsity volleyball. Then going into my sophomore year I fully understood my position as a MB. My team, with the help of our coach who was brand new to our program, achieved our school volleyball team's best record since 2012. Now that I’ve completed my junior season I’ve become more confident in what my full potential can look like, and how I can keep improving.
Attending Nauset Regional High School in the smaller, more isolated community of Cape Cod has influenced the way I play and act as a person. Nauset is a smaller school that focuses a lot on making students more active in their community while also putting lots of focus on the arts and athletics. Because of the high standards Nauset holds their students to I have learned to manage more than just being a team player for volleyball, but also maintain mostly As and participate in community events.
