Gabrielle Kitley '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Gabi Kitley and I am a Senior at Grand Ledge High School, in Grand Ledge Michigan.

I have played school and club volleyball since 6th grade, and this year I became a 3 year varsity starter, and 2 time captain. 

Currently, I have a cumulative GPA of a 3.967, and with my current AP classes I am holding strong to a weighted 4.5. My plan at this time is to attend college for a career in medicine (not sure in what capacity yet), and I would love to continue playing volleyball alongside that, as it has always been a dream of mine. I rely on my overall strengths of leadership, athleticism, and dedication to pull me through challenges both in school and on the court. 

On the court, I always strive to be the hardest working player, and will never stop pushing myself to that goal.  I hustle for every ball, no matter the chance of success behind it, and will always believe, if there's a will, there's a way! At over 6 feet tall, I am proud to say I have achieved success as an all around player and thoroughly hope to continue my position in both front and back row, knowing I can be of benefit to my team in either position.

My collegiate goals are to train and play hard - raising the level of my own game and that of my team. I never shy away from hard work, and look forward to a new challenge both in the classroom and on the court. I hope to talk to you soon!
