My name is Olivia Scheets, and I am currently a Junior at Cabool High School. Up until 2016, I attended a private school out of Mountain Grove, and played volleyball competitively since the age of 9. The reason behind switching to a public school was to capitalize on every volleyball opportunity put before me. Growing up, grades have constantly been a top priority, and I have always managed to perform well in the classroom, as well as be the top of my class academically. I am involved in numerous high school clubs (FCCLA, FBLA, FCT, Girls C Club, Student Council, BETA, Math & Science Relays, Art Club) and am enjoying the overall high school experience.
Volleyball and academics have always driven me to have a competitive spirit. Throughout high school, I have started Varsity since my freshman year as a setter and outside hitter. I have also competed with Team Up out of Mountain Grove and Cabool Spike Club for the past 5 years and plan on competing for the next 3 seasons. I have attended many skills camps and have also invested in private lessons. I am also very active in the weight room, as I think it plays an important role in anyone's athletic development. I have competed in the SCA conference for going on 3 years now and earned honors as a Sophomore. As you can see, I have invested many years of hard work into bettering myself as an athlete. I hope to continue challenging myself in the classroom and on the court.
