Samantha Bax '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm very much in love with volleyball and would love to have the opportunity to pursue it at a higher level, while attending a school with a challenging academic program. 

I believe I'm a good fit for any position, I am not scared to try anything new because I have played many positions in the past. I was a setter for two years in my first club seasons and enjoyed it very much. I continue  to be an outside hitter on my club team as my volleyball career progresses. This year I am on the 18's team as an outside hitter. 

At Fatima High School in Westphalia, MO I played on the JV team as a middle hitter my freshman year. I love the high intensity of the moments at the net and give it my all. Now, as a junior, I am the starting varsity middle hitter. As a natural leader, I take charge on the court. In doing so, I expect a lot from my teammates and strive for them to take the game as serious as I do. 

I take on many responsibilities in my life outside of school as well. I am very involved in both Scouting programs, Girl Scouts and BSA (Boy Scouts of America) Scouts, I like to help in anyway I can. I am currently pursuing my Eagle ranking and my Gold Award. That being said, I'm a driven and hardworking individual who will always give 100%  on and off the court. 

I'm just as passionate about academics as I am about volleyball. I strive for excellent  grades and hope to get many academic based scholarships. 

I am very proud of my continued growth in all aspect of my life, l look forward to continue to build who I am, and what I can be upon entering my college chapter.
