I would describe myself as dedicated and hard-working in my athletic and academic life. I value the term student-athlete greatly because it describes me as a person. While I strive for greatness in academics, I also do the same at volleyball, attending every required and optional event possible, from practices and strength and speed to community service. My teammates describe me as an energetic player because I am everyone's biggest cheerleader on the court. This is due to my extreme passion for the game. I also work unbelievably hard to obtain a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 4.45 weighted GPA which highlights my abilities in time management. I am an intelligent volleyball player because I can integrate my studies into my level of play. I am very interested in pursuing a career in medicine and I have participated in the sports medicine program at my high school. This helped me better understand the human body and what is necessary and important to becoming a strong athlete. I would characterize myself as a fast learner which is helpful on and off the court especially when I switched my position in 8th grade from opposite to middle blocker and I am still able to play both at a high level. I am also extremely coachable because I value respect and work ethic. I would love to continue my studies in medicine while playing volleyball in college, so I am interested in a school with majors available in biology and a competitive volleyball program with a coach that will push me to be the best form of myself.
