I became interested in playing Volleyball the Summer before 8th grade and attended a few camps, after that I realized how much I loved the sport and decided to try out. After making the team for my club and High School, I then really realized that I wanted to do this as long as possible.
I have learned how well I communicate with others and how I can separate my home, school, and sports life from one another, so they do not interfere with one another. I have overcome many mental and physical challenges to get to where I am today. Although I may not seem like it, I am taking all of my critiques from my coaches/teammates and working on that in my free time; because I know that it will better the team and help us towards a win.
My parents influence me so much on a day to day basis to strive to become the best I can, with all of the time that they have me living under their roof before I leave for college. I know that my teachers influence me so much, too, because they know that I can always do better than I already am. My goal for furthering my education is to get into a college that is known for their medical studies. My current school is helping me strive to get there via their nursing program. My goals for college, at the moment, are that I would like to graduate as a Pediatric Nurse Practioner while playing volleyball if I get there.
