Hello, I am Lilly Surma and from a young age, I have always had a love for sports. I began playing volleyball the summer of 8th grade and instantly fell in love with the sport. I played club with SJVBC and learned much from the team and coaches. 

I am a good candidate for your team because I put in hard work and am always eager to learn new skills. From learning numerous positions such as, OPP, Outside, Middle, DS, and a little bit of setting and libero, I love spending my time on the court and training. I am always in the gym weight training and making myself into the best athlete I can be. Also, I have no issues when it comes to meeting new people and having to adjust when playing with other athletes. I am a very welcoming, trustworthy, and hard-working student-athlete and I think I could be a great character for the team! 

What differentiates me from other athletes is that I am always open to trying new things, and not afraid to step up when needed. I always work hard for my team and always put my best foot forward. I will always give it my all for my team and the sport to get the best outcome possible. 

School has always been a top priority for me, I take honors and ap classes and always maintain high grades while balancing my sports schedule on top of it.
