Hello, I’m Janelle. I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade and then took and a break 8th grade due to covid. This is not to say that I do not have a lot of experience. Ever since 7th grade I have been training myself really hard to accomplish my goal of playing volleyball in college at a competitive level. My freshman year of high-school I tried out for my school’s s volleyball team and initially made the JV team. This didn't last very long, when I heard that I made the JV team I was devastated because I had been working out a lot so I could be prepared for the tryout. However, this just fueled me to work even harder. I continued to work hard and my efforts did not go unnoticed. I moved up to be a varsity starter my freshman year and have been ever since. I am a dedicated, hardworking, and encouraging teammate and player. One of my priorities that have I have for myself on the court is to always hype my teammates up and help them push themselves when they are tired. I believe that I would be an excellent addition to any team, not just as a player, but as a teammate. Thank you.
