I did not start playing volleyball until eighth grade in middle school. I was always fascinated with the sport, so I decided to try a camp over the summer and I immediately fell in love with it. When I made the modified team in eighth grade it even furthered my aspirations in volleyball, so I sought out every possible opportunity to improve my skills and become an even better player. Before I started volleyball I was a generally shy person, but volleyball helped me come out of my shell and discover my leadership skills. If asked, my teammates and coaches would tell you that I elevate the spirit of the team on and off the court. My future goals are to play volleyball at the college level, and to be a contributing player to the team, while continuing my education. Something that makes me a good candidate and separates me from other recruits is my coach-ability and leadership skills. I always strive to improve in volleyball and everything I do and I take every piece of advice my coaches give me and use it when practicing and playing volleyball. I embrace every opportunity to learn and grow as an athlete and person. I look forward to continuing my development and taking the next steps in my volleyball career!
