Ansley Baker '22 Recruiting Profile

In order to be successful athletically, I believe you have to have determination and mental toughness.  I started my athletic journey as a competitive swimmer and swam at a very high level.  I began playing volleyball and decided this sport was my passion.    My determination and mental toughness began in the pool and is the reason I am such a passionate volleyball player.   I know with hard work and determination you can achieve your goals.  In volleyball I set my goals every year to get better and be on more competitive teams working my way up from the regional level to the national level.  I set my goal early to play on my high school varsity team as a freshman, which I accomplished, making the to the regional finals in our state.  I now set my goal to play at the next level.  I know I have the mental toughness to and determination and passion for the game.
