I am standing 6'2", solid and strong and love the game of volleyball! In my collegiate career, I would like to pursue something in the sports medical field focusing on helping improve athletic performance by preventing and recovering from injuries. Other areas I am drawn to are Psychology, Pharmacy and Dentistry. I have been a team player, starting at the age of 8, two years playing softball and the last 7 years playing Club volleyball and 3 years of school ball, knowing that it takes a team to be successful! I love to have fun on and off the court, but take the sport seriously as I have a great passion for volleyball. Everyday I strive to perform at the highest level for my coaches, team mates, family, as well as myself. I continue to grow physically and mentally in the game every day and soak up as much as I can from my coaches and peers. I like to encourage my team mates on and off the court. Going into my Junior year, this will be my third year as a 6A Varsity starter! This past school year we had 11 Seniors, with several heavy hitters on our team who were so much fun to play with and learn from, who also gave me the nickname of "Big Mac"! I ended the school season with 254 kills, 63 blocks, 33 aces and 93 digs I received the award for highest Offensive hitter with a .312% and 1st Team All-Conference player.
Focusing on my academics is a high priority to me, ranging from a 3.9 to a 4.0, making National Junior Honor Society my Freshman and Sophomore year. I balance a busy family life, with 1 older brother, 1 younger autistic brother and 2 younger sisters, I baby sit, do school work and volleyball every day. I mentioned my brother that is autistic because he has helped me develop a deep appreciation for individuals that have special needs. His situation has taught me to encourage, support and help develop others to help them achieve their goals in life.
Oklahoma High Performance Team in 2017 and 2018; All Tournament at the 2019 President's Day Tournament in St. Louis, MO; All Tournament at the Bishop Kelly High School, Norman High School, and Owasso High School Tournaments. I was a member of the 2019 USA High Performance Volleyball A-1 Select Team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
I feel honored and humbled to have had these opportunities to receive the accolades and privilege of playing with highly talented and competitive athletes that love the game of volleyball as much as myself and am excited about continuing my career in volleyball in college and beyond.
