Alexandra Black '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to get a good education and college degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish with the  hope that volleyball may help me reach my goals.   I grew up watching my older sister, Jessica, play and receive  All American honors  at the University of Tulsa.   From watching her love of the game,  my love and determination for volleyball was born.   I have always wanted to play college volleyball and possibly internationally after I graduate.    I enjoy taking photos and being part of a team of committed players.  

My tenacity and work ethic is what makes me different from other players.   I continue to  work hard to develop my skills and am coachable as well as a team leader on and off the court.   I understand my role and distribution when it comes to setting.   I am capable of playing all around and am willing to play where I am needed on the court.  My grades are solid because school and grades are very important to me.   I continue to improve because I love everything volleyball!
