Aloha!
I started playing serious volleyball in the sixth grade. I had picked up the sport from my next-door neighbor and by watching the University of Hawai'i Wahine volleyball team with my grandfather. Before playing volleyball, I swam for Mt. Hood Aquatics Swim Club from ages five to 10.
This past fall, I played for the Clackamas High School Varsity Volleyball team as the starting setter. My freshman year was my first year setting ever on the junior varsity team.
This year’s 2020 club season I played for NW Power ‘Ohana 18 Nationals team as the starting setter. I'm a versatile player. I have played middle blocker for 2 years, right side for 1 year, and 3 years setting. I am a consistent server as well. I have played on teams where coaches ran a 6-2 or 5-1 successfully. I have enjoyed my coaches and teammates at the club and HS levels.
My goals are attending a college where I can pursue my passion of volleyball, while also working towards my degree in Nursing. After getting a degree, I want to become a registered nurse in pediatrics. I hope to achieve both goals in the near future.
