2023 Highlights Personal Statement
When I was 10 I went to a volleyball camp. I was a kid that liked running and climbing and playing, but hated sports. Yet, something about volleyball got my attention, it was actually fun. Since that start, I've played on numerous different teams and for a wide variety of coaches constantly absorbing the information and responsibilities offered to me over the years. Each year wanting to improve, not just to win, but to be a better player and teammate. (Winning is always a nice side-effect though.) I want to keep playing competitively in college because I want to continue to learn. After playing for around 7 years, I'm not ready to stop now.
