I'm very excited to go to college! I am excited to explore different areas of study, although I enjoy science and math the most, and helping others. I may want to be a Dr. and have thought about Drs. without borders so I can help people in the world that need it most. I feel that would be extremely rewarding!
My GPA is a 4.17 unweighted ....I will be selecting AP and honors for my upcoming sophomore year. I love working hard and then seeing if I can rise to the challenge. I enjoy that journey! I have been known by friends to forgo a fun night out in order to study for a test. :-)
On the sports field or court, I give 100% focus and effort. I was made captain of my soccer team from 6-8th grade because I demonstrated maturity and focus from a young age. My high school volleyball coach has praised for my ability to focus and gave me the MVP award my freshman year on JV. I pick up new sports very fast, with my focus and my natural athleticism it has served me well. I am grateful for that gift.
I have played years of soccer, lacrosse, track, basketball, sailing, and golf....but volleyaball has turned out to be my favorite sport. My soccer coach and teammates miss me because I chose volleyball as my sport. My soccer coach said I had excellent field awareness, always passing to a player if they had the opportunity to score vs me trying to dribble to make the shot myself. She was impressed I did that from such a young age. I have always understood its a team effort, not an individual game.
I hope to find a school that is the right fit and I know I will give 100% to my studies and sports team wherever that may be!
