I started playing volleyball around age 9, and since then, the sport has grown to be not only my favorite sport, but also my passion. I play volleyball for my high school varsity team, and play in the Blast Volleyball Club in the off season. I have been playing Blast for 4 years now, and this year and last year I made the highest teams for my age group. I am currently playing on the 16's Open 1 team as an outside hitter. I am primarily an outside hitter, but I have also played right side and middle. I also play beach volleyball in the summer, in a league and also through participating in tournaments. I hope to keep playing volleyball in college so I can keep improving my skills and participate competitively for as long as possible. Playing in college is one of my biggest goals.
I am also an honors student; I have been taking the highest classes in school both my freshman and sophomore year and have a 4.0 GPA. I am interested in the fields of filmmaking, marketing, hospitality and foreign relations/communications.
Thank you for being interested enough to read about me and I hope I am a good candidate for your school. I look forward to hearing about your program.
