Kira Ryan '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m Kira and I’m really glad that you found me! A little about me, I’m committed, competitive, and most importantly a team player. I always do my best to bring up my other teammates on and off the court, whether that’s cheering them on or cheering them up. My academics are my priority however I love volleyball and want to include it in my college career. I have only been training as an outside/DS for two years but I am an extremely fast learner and committed to becoming better with every practice. These two attributes have helped me be a part of some amazing teams. During my sophomore year playing for my high school’s junior varsity team as a starter and the captain. I was also awarded the most improved player of the year. With my ability to learn fast I have played for the Metro 16 Central team as a starter and was on my way to play in the AAU Nationals.

I am an extremely hard worker that never gives up. I really love the energy and the spirit that comes with playing for a school/community. I’m looking for a medium to large school with a lot of school spirit and preferably in warm climates. My goal for college volleyball is to bond with a team, meet new people, and play the sport I love.
