My name is Kendal Boland and I am a dedicated volleyball player. I started playing volleyball during 6th grade club season, and I have loved it ever since. My accomplishments consist making my school's varsity volleyball team as an 8th grader and being team captain of the varsity volleyball team since the 9th grade. I have also started in every game for the varsity team since I was in the 8th grade.
When I am playing volleyball, I work hard to go for any ball. What I can offer to a team is an uplifting attitude and determination. Since I have been setting since the 6th grade, I have had to become a leader on and off the court to encourage others. Being a captain has also increased my ability to lead a team.
When it comes to deciding on a college, I am mainly looking for a larger college in South Carolina. I want a competitive atmosphere where the college is big on sports, but I can also recieve a good education. I am still deciding on my majors, but my main two I am thinking of are Psychology and Criminal Justice.
I know my goals I have for college are going to make me work hard, but as I have said, I am very devoted. I am very excited knowing I am working on continuing to play the sport I love at the collegiate level. My goals are to bring dedication and make an impact on a team.
