Personal Statement
I've been attending varsity practices with my dad since I've been three years old. I always had a volleyball in my hand passing to myself or hitting the ball off a wall. My dad has been a coach for twenty-three years, and I've been lucky enough to play for him the past five years. I started on the the varsity as 7th grade setter and have been an All-Conference player every year since 7th grade. During my 7th, 8th, and 10th grade seasons I played setter, and my 9th and 11th grade seasons I played as an outside hitter; which makes me a very versatile player.
I would like to play any position where my skillset can benefit my team the most--which was my high school motto, 'Whatever is best for the team'. I love to win and be a great teammate, and I absolutely hate to lose. It's very important for me to always perform at my highest level. If I don't, I'm disappointed and hurt, but I'm determined to make it better the next match.
I want to simply attend college and work hard academically and athletically, attain a degree in the medical field, and someday become a wonderful wife and mother.
