Chloe Sealey '28 Recruiting Profile

I am a passionate, coachable, and energetic volleyball player and a sophomore on the Junior Varsity Volleyball team at Collierville High School (CHS) in Collierville, TN. I started playing recreational volleyball fall of 2019 after I enjoyed it in my P.E. in the 4th grade. The COVID-19 pandemic came so no one could play any sports. However, I did not let that stop me from playing the sport that I was growing to love.

In 6th grade, I played at Collierville Middle School (CMS) and then I began my volleyball club journey at Loyalty Volleyball Club by playing up to the 13s team where I was the libero. In 2022, I played setter on the 7th grade team at CMS, and I also made the 13 Elite Red team (second highest elite team) at Memphis Metro Volleyball, where I played defensive specialist. During my 8th grade school season, I played all around, but mostly right side hitter and defensive specialist, and on the 14 Elite Red & 15 Elite Red teams at Memphis Metro Volleyball where I was a DS. I am happy to say that I can see my own growth playing at Collierville High School. 

I did not know how being a student-athlete would be for me, but I have worked so hard to maintain As and Bs while taking advanced classes each year in middle school.  I am definitely not saying it has been easy or that I never felt the pressure or stress, but I knew I had goals to achieve so it has been worth it.  My family supported me and taught me structure, time management, and how to plan well.

I enjoy playing competitively and want to continue to play in college to support my college education. This support will help me reach my goal of becoming a physical therapist.
