My name is Lindsay Arvin, and I am a Libero/DS for the class of 2016. I have played volleyball for 8 years, and I love it more every year. When I step into the gym, I am not only trying to make myself better but also my team. I am a well-rounded volleyball player being able to play any position on the front row and back row if necessary.
For the past four years, I have been selected for and participated in USAV's High Performance Program. In 2014, I was selected as a libero on the Continental team that participated at the HP Championships in Tulsa. In 2013, I participated in the A2 Program as a libero. In 2012, as a libero, I was selected for the A1/A2 teams that competed at the HP Championships in Iowa. In 2011, I attended the A2 camp as a setter. In 2013 and 2014, I was an invitee to the AVCA Phenom Program.
I am searching for the best blend of high level volleyball and academic excellence. I am an AP and Honors student just completing my fall semester of my junior year with a 5.0. I love to compete and also want to be academically challenged in engineering and/or math programs. I play, practice, and study at one speed - full speed.
