Personal Statement

I am 16 years old and a junior at Sachse High School. I love the sport of volleyball indoor and out! I wrapped up my 2013 High school Season as DISTRICT Champs with my team in a 5A school. I was recognized by Coach Rikki Jones ([email protected]) with the following:

· Academic Award All District

· 2nd Team All District

· Varsity Award

· New Comer Award Medal (Beastly serves, defensive play maker bringing team up for wins, and hard work ethic.) ,

Currently, I am training as an independent player (not with a particular club). My training is centered around working with some of the best players/ coaches from Beach 10K in Plano, Texas to improve my sand game.

My dream that I intend to make a reality, is to play either indoor/sand volleyball for my future university. I know I will continue to work hard academically (as I aspire to be a physical therapist), and stay physically & mentally fit for my sport….Never taking for granted the efforts it takes to be not good, but great!

Sand side note: I have ranked on a National Level with USA for beach (July 2012) 12th, made top 10 @ AAU (July 2013, CA), and won various competitive tournaments in sand in some of the toughest areas of our region.

Although, I live in Texas, please know I am open to exploring outside my home state. Your consideration is greatly appreciated! ~ Morgan Fields

Played on a Fall league and Spring League where we I played in the 2nd annual collegiate tournament in Gulf Shores and tried out for High Performance.
