My name is Madeline Canizales and I’m a 5’6”, 2025 Libero/DS. I’m currently starting as a Libero on the Freshmen team at Waco Midway High School.
This past season, we won the District Championship. Currently, I’m playing with the 15U Red Waco Juniors Volleyball Club.
Academics is a huge priority in my family. I’m a straight A student and currently apart of the Duke University Talent Identification Program. In addition to volleyball, I also run track (800m, 4x100m) and an All-District golfer.
Volunteering in my community means a great deal to me. I am the Vice President of National Charity League Volunteer at Caritas, help out in the youth group at First Methodist Church and in Future Farmers of America.
My goal is to get a great education and to be apart of a family oriented volleyball program. I have a strong passion for the game and will do whatever helps my team succeed. I love being around my teammates and pushing them to get better everyday.
