Maria Herron '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maria Herron, I currently play for Waco Juinors Volleyball Club in Waco, Texas. I started playing volleyball when I was 9 years old, 2 years ago is when I knew I wanted to play collegiate volleyball. I always strive to be a good teammate and learn how to be effective on the court no matter the situation.

I play multiple sports in school and outside of school but volleyball has my heart. When I play volleyball I feel at ease and have a great passion for the game. My ultimate goal is to play at the highest level while pursuing a degree in the medical field.

Being coachable has given me the opportunity to play multiple positions. By having experience in multiple positions I have improved my knowledge of the game and communication skills amongst my teammates during the game. My dedication to the game, desire to be coached and athleticism will allow me to be an asset on any team.
