Personal Statement
I am a multi-sport, multi-position player. Over each of the last several years I have played softball, basketball, and volleyball. I have always wanted to take my volleyball career to the next level. Ever since I started playing there was never any doubt of my commitment, heart, and hustle on or off of the court. Participating in sports, especially volleyball, has helped keep me grounded and discover who I am. In fact, it has made me realize that I am passionate, driven, a leader yet a team-player, and extremely dedicated.
I practice, play, and work hard and always look for opportunities for growth; not just at volleyball but also with my virtues and character in every aspect of my life. Although sports consume most of my time, I have been able to maintain above average grades and honor roll. Being an upstanding citizen and helping the community has always been important to me so I spend most of the free time I have volunteering with the youth, my church, school, and community.
I am eagerly searching for the college that is seeking someone just like me, one who is extremely well rounded, loves to be a part of something bigger than their self, and comfortable going above and beyond expectations. I am searching for a college that can recognize my potential and is interested in my multi-faceted skill-set. I also am looking for a college that can provide opportunities that will allow me to continue to grow academically, athletically, and morally as I pursue a degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology so that I can obtain a career in law enforcement.
I am looking for a college home and team family with the same values as myself.
