Kelsey Boltz '23 Recruiting Profile

My love for volleyball started in 8th grade.  I decided to try the sport at school for the middle school team and have loved it ever since.  A little too much sometimes!  Started varsity play in 9th grade as a sub while on JV team and then Varsity for 10th and 11th grade, and went on to play for a travel/club league starting in 9th grade also, and have been there for three years now.  I am super passionate about the game, and enjoy watching and going to a ton of college games as well.  Love the Big 10 teams!  I am not too tall, BUT am quick and know the strategy of the game.  I have been a setter, Libero and DS, and my coaches have also indicated I am a serve specialist.  I do Love serving!!!  Don't miss many either!

My passion is to do something in the medical field.  I love helping people and so nursing is my path right now, but possibly going further in my education also.  Spanish may possibly be a Minor for me also.

All my school years have consisted of attending a small Christian school, and I am very passionate about my faith.  This is a very important aspect in my life and I am grateful for all the teachings that have helped me understand all the good Jesus like characteristics that I practice everyday.  

I am very accountable and respectful of my elders and peers.  I look forward to my college journey, and hopefully volleyball will be part of it!
