I am a dedicated and competitive athlete who has been playing volleyball (and lacrosse) since I was 8 years old. I have always been a setter, and enjoy the strategic and athletic requirements needed to be an effective setter. I work hard to keep my defensive skills sharp, always willing to play strong defense as a setter. Last season (2019-20) my new club team needed a Libero, and I was asked to throw myself into a new role to help my team. While the season was cut shirt, I enjoyed learning and being flexible to help my team in any way that I can. This season (20-21) I’m excited to be back to playing setter on a great team with a lot of drive and desire to win. I look forward to playing at the collegiate level and to take my skills to positively help my team accomplish its goals. I lost my dad unexpectedly this year, so volleyball and my teammates have been a critical part of my life on and off the court. Academically, I am a very good student, earning a 3.8 gpa while taking AP and academically challenging classes.
