Hi my name is Amiria Cross I would love for this to be something you read that inspires you but it might not be.my truthful story is as I grew up l always have wanted to play volleyball forever and I found love with it .The town where I come from you don’t get many opportunities to go big that’s why I joined NCSA and to also make my family proud to be the first generation to go to college and play sports together also for my brother who passed to make him proud as he watches over me . I’m in a couple honors classes but I’m not the smartest person, i’m coachable, I’m dedicated, I’m emotional and scrappy when it comes to volleyball, it’s the one time in the world and place I can truly be myself. I love and have worked really hard to try and play as much volleyball as I could throughout my life, the community I was born and raised and truly depends off of who you know and how much money you make. true connections also mean a lot to me like to know my coaches, one on one time, know what I can get better at and improve not just for myself but for the team overall. The one thing I have learned from volleyball is nothing gonna work if you don’t work with yourself and others if you’re gonna be down to do your others are gonna be down themselves with you at the same time. work dedication and raw emotion is what helps you grow not just as a person but also in sports.
