I am a very passionate junior in high school. I have played water polo for 7 years and been a competitive rock climber for 9 years. My academic goals are very important as well, I have dreams of becoming a pedicatric neurosurgeon. To do this, it requires great strength, motivation, and perseverance. To accomplish all of my goals, I spend my days training, beginning with swim practice 5-7am, weight lifting 11am-1pm, water polo 4-6:30pm, and rock climbing practice 7-10pm. Working out is the most exciting part of my day, where I can relax and do what I love most. I make sure that I fill my days to maximize my time. I am very invested in everything I begin, so I am always giving 100 percent effort. I have participated in the last 3 years of ODP and in 2018 had the oppportunity to go to NTSC as representation of the PNW. As a major part of my training, I have been to the last 4 Junior Olympics, and the most recent with SET Water Polo. To make sure I am reaching my fullest potential, I moved to California to experience a higher, more competitive level of play. Cross training with rock climbing provides me a significant strength advantage in the pool. My dedication drives me to be the best player that I can.
