Nfa duals 220 matchI hope to own my own Lanscaping business. I enjoy working hard and being outdoors. I've spent time throughout my high school career using my place of work as an apprenticeship to learn about small engines. I have done landscaping work on the side. My high school career has been different than most. I came in as a freshman weighing 182 and the coach was hoping for some wins but didn't expect me to have a winning season. I proved to them and myself that I could do well. I wrestled the 220 weight class and did better than anyone expected. I was planning on going to the Mow Wows but COVID hit and everything was shut down. I didn't stop training. I worked out everyday and kept my grades and my mind busy. My Junior year I was so excited to get back to wrestling despite the stipulations. I was doing well and getting back when I was out for 14 days for a COVID exposure. When I came back I was on the mat and my knee was knocked out. I was devistated to say the least I could only envision me winning the state opens and the Doctor gave me news that said that it wasn't my ACL but my patella was broken. It was a long recovery, but I would be stronger. So I worked, I got stronger. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in March after my injury and didn't know what this would do for me or wrestling. I had missed so much school and was feeling terrible. I never gave up. I kept at it. I was down to 175 with a goal of 195 by the time the season started. I did it. I worked out and focused on my goal I was able to make my goal and reached 205. A teammate fell on my knee in December and the Doctor pulled me out for 4 weeks. I didn't let this get me down. I kept working I kept my eye on my goal. I'm going to state opens. I just got cleared last week. I'm 205lbs 6'2 and solid and healthy. I have had 5 matches and won 5 matches. I hope to have an undefeated season. My work ethic is undeniable. My drive and inability to be knocked down physically and mentally is unmatched. I will be a force to contend with. On top of this, I feel I am a good role model. I am always kind and caring towards others. I have faith in God and my family.
