Personal Statement

I’ve been a three sport (baseball, football, wrestling) varsity athlete since my Freshman year (while maintaining an A average in Honors & AP classes) at Pace Academy in Atlanta. In order to achieve success playing three sports, it requires a combination of physical power, speed, and technical skills. More than anything I attribute my success to mental toughness.

I’ve spent the last 11 years fully immersed in all that Pace Academy has to offer - clubs, performing arts, leadership opportunities, study abroad and sports. I’ve enjoyed being class secretary, playing in the orchestra 9 years, serving on the student advisory board and engaging in my Isdell Center for Global Learning Fellowships. I’m also proud that I earned my Eagle Scout and have been team captain for both my junior and senior years. 

My goal is to compete and study at a high academic school where I can contribute in a meaningful way.
