What the Coaches are Saying...

“As a reminder we are looking for 2019 kids and need a ton of them! The best fit is players with strong academics but may just be short of a front line college player or they just love softball and want to continue to play. And with that we offer our Gold (JV) Team options and that offers players an opportunity to play in college and compete against other college teams and receive a softball scholarship usually in the $2000-$4000/yr range. For the right players this is a tremendous opportunity to be a college softball player, continue to play when otherwise they may be done with softball, and to get a scholarship to participate. In addition to the $2000-$4000 softball scholarship we offer a very, very, strong academic package that starts at an 18 ACT/2.50 GPA”

“We have two full sqauds, ie 15 players + on JV and 15+ on Varsity. We would offer the same academic aid to any player that plays JV or Varsity. And JV would also for $3000-$6000 in additional softball scholarship. With that said we see a lot of players who are not going to be front line players in college but here at BCU we have a path for them. They play a 10-15 game schedule, they have full time coaches, they have access to all the same facilities, but again either do not want the full Varsity Level schedule or they just are short on the talent side and want to still have the softball college experience. With that said we would LOVE to talk to any girls that fit the JV Model we are open to virtually all positions on JV. On Varsity we need pitcher/catcher/speedy O/F Slappers.”

—Coach Bryce Bly
Sep 25, 2018

“For 2019 we are open as we are behind being new so most positions but for 2020 we need P, C, speedy outfielders. Kids with high ACTS and/or GPA's get a very nice financial package. ”

—Coach Bryce Bly
