What the Coaches are Saying...
Nov 03, 2023

“Our program emphasizes 2 key points: family and legacy. We want to recruit players that want to come be a member of our family. We have a close knit group of players that push each other, cheer for each other's successes, and, most importantly, is there for one another. We want our incoming players to be those that want that in their softball experience and college experience. We also want players that want to be successful. Since 2007, we have had only 1 losing season and have won the conference championship 2 out of the last 4 years, which is the legacy the players leave behind. We want players that want to leave a lasting legacy of success on the softball field. Off the field, our main focus is your education. You're coming to Wilson to get a degree, not to play softball. We pride ourselves as a program on the successes our players have after they graduate. We pride ourselves on the careers that our student-athletes earn after they graduate, perhaps more than their successes on the softball field.”
